Lisburn Light Trail

Open daily from 4pm to 8.30pm (last entry 8pm), these historic gardens in the city centre will once again be transformed into a spectacular, illuminated wonderland for all to enjoy.

As darkness falls each evening, you and your loved ones can wander through a breathtaking trail of sparkling installations and dazzling light shows, soaking in the enchanting atmosphere.

The excitement extends beyond the radiant light installations, with a host of other festive delights. Santa Claus will be in his grotto every Wednesday to Saturday to hear your children’s Christmas wishes. Meanwhile, enjoy the sounds of the season at our live music stage as local bands and choirs add to the ambience.

For those of you in search of delicious treats, a charming mini-Christmas market will be open each Wednesday to Sunday. Here, you can browse wooden chalets filled with local artisans’ creations and sample festive food and hot drinks.

The event is designed for everyone, including your four-legged family members! Well behaved dogs on leads are very welcome to join you on the magical light trail (bonus points if they wear festive jumpers!) And best of all, admission is completely free.
