We currently have two public consultations open on our draft policies:
- Acquisitions and Disposal Policy; and
- Community Asset Transfer Policy.
We want feedback from our service users, residents, community and voluntary groups before 1st September 2023.
Our draft Acquisition and Disposal Policy details the legal and regulatory issues that we need to consider when contemplating the acquisition or disposal of property assets.
The draft Community Asset Transfer Policy has been developed to explain the process that allows local community groups to make application for greater control and management of land or buildings under council ownership.
