Apply for additional food and garden waste (brown bin) collection

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council residents are provided with 1 x 240L brown bin per household for organic food and garden waste collections.

If you require an additional bin(s) for garden waste collection, we can offer this service subject to availability on each route.

A £60 charge per annum will apply for each additional bin. The charge is valid annually from 1 April to 31 March and is a flat rate regardless of when the service was requested.

If you need an additional bin supplied, a cost of £30 will apply.

Alternatively, surplus garden waste can be recycled free of charge at your nearest household recycling centre.
