Additional bin collections
Households can request additional bin collections for excess garden waste.
- Collection of each additional bin costs £60 per year
- If you need to purchase an additional bin it costs £30
- Additional bins which do not display a 'Paid Collection' sticker will not be collected

Garden waste can also be recycled free of charge at your nearest household recycling centre.

Kitchen caddies and bio-degradable liners are available to collect from:

- Drumlough Recycling Centre, Hillsborough, BT26 6QA
- Carryduff Household Recycling Centre, Comber Road, BT8 8AN

Landfill bin
The Council does not supply landfill bins. They can be ordered from a local supplier - please check with us what size you need before purchasing a landfill bin.
Larger or additional landfill bins are available for households with large amounts of disposable nappies, medical waste or have more than six occupants.
