We recently hosted the final Entrepreneurs Network meeting of its 2024/25 schedule entitled ‘High Performance Thinking for Business Leaders’ in the impressive surroundings of Hillsborough Castle and Gardens.
Over 75 local businesses attended this annual event to hear from Professor Damian Hughes, internationally renowned speaker, multi-best-selling author and host of the 'High Performance Podcast'.
Alderman Allan Ewart MBE, Regeneration & Growth Committee Vice-Chair, officially welcomed everyone to the Entrepreneurs Network event. He said: “Within Lisburn and Castlereagh there is a strong partnership and network between the council and our local businesses. Our area has seen a high level of start-up businesses; and I encourage local businesses to continue to engage with us to obtain support for the development and growth of your business through programmes like Go Succeed.
“It was a fitting conclusion to this year’s calendar of networking events to end on a high with guest speaker Professor Damian Hughes. He spoke of how in five steps Lisburn and Castlereagh businesses can begin their five-step journey to improving their performance and that of their businesses - from reflection on current and aspirational position to how to champion your success. We look forward to hearing how they got on when we come back to the 2025/26 series of event in September.”
Professor Damian Hughes is author of eight best-selling business books, including his latest book How to Change Your Life: Five Steps to Achieving High Performance co-authored with Jake Humphrey, Liquid Thinking, Liquid Leadership, How to Change Absolutely Anything, How to Think Like Sir Alex Ferguson and The Five STEPS to a Winning Mindset. His innovative approach has been praised by Sir Richard Branson, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods, Jonny Wilkinson and Sir Alex Ferguson.
