Lisburn & Castlereagh Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) is supporting Bike Safe Week 2025 by partnering with the PSNI, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, RoSPA, and IAM Roadsmart to host a Bike Safe workshop at Lagan Valley Island, Lisburn on Friday 6 June 2025.

The workshop is part of a wider national initiative aimed at reducing motorcycle casualties and promoting road safety among bikers. Delivered by experienced road safety professionals, the session offers motorcyclists the opportunity to enhance their skills, knowledge, and confidence both in theory and on the road.

The workshops can help bikers become safer, more competent riders and help them avoid some of the most common causes of collisions. They also support riders in building confidence and ability, allowing them to get even more enjoyment from their time on the road.

The PSNI Bike Safe Co-ordinator added, “PSNI has a long-established relationship with Bike Safe and we’re pleased to continue offering these valuable workshops. Each session includes a two-hour classroom-based overview of Motorcycle Roadcraft, followed by a two-hour on-road assessment with an advanced police motorcyclist.”

Bike Safe is designed not only to promote safer riding but also to encourage ongoing training and education among motorcyclists. Riders who take part benefit from practical insights and professional guidance that can help reduce risks and enhance the riding experience.

For those unable to attend the upcoming session, further dates and workshop availability throughout 2025 can be found by visiting the official Bike Safe website.
