Ivy from Moira has become something of a Park Life VIP! For the past two years, Ivy and her family have been travelling across Lisburn & Castlereagh to enjoy every event the Park Life Programme has to offer — and she hasn’t missed a single one!
Park Life is the council’s flagship summer programme of events that take place in Wallace Park, Moat Park, Moira Demesne, Castle Gardens, and Lough Moss in Carryduff.
Free to attend, the programme is bursting with exciting children’s activities from roaring fun at Jurassic Adventures to Messy Bug Ball, to the enchanting world of Heroes and Princess Days and creative Plant and Play sessions.
Superfan Ivy loves it all, but her top picks include the Play Days filled with hula hoops, parachute games, and face painting, she chooses a new design every time!
One of her favourite memories is the Wallace Park Play Day, complete with the Play Bus and outdoor games galore!
But it’s not just about the activities, Ivy loved meeting Spiderman this year. He had everyone, even her parents, joining in the fun!
And speaking of parents… Ivy’s mum and dad are just as hooked. They never miss a chance for a selfie with Princess Tiana or Batman.
Thanks to Park Life, Ivy says her summer has been unforgettable and we couldn’t agree more.
