Zero Waste Week is an annual campaign encouraging people to be less wasteful. To help, we are giving you the chance to win one of FIVE zero waste lunch packs* to help you refill, reuse, and refuse single-use.
Environment and Sustainability Committee Chair, Alderman Owen Gawith, said: “There are lots of ways to reduce your waste and become more sustainable. Reusable items are easy to introduce, better for the environment and can save you money in the long run”
“I carry my own reusable water bottle, hot drinks cup and reusable shopping bag, so I’m always prepared. I’d encourage everyone to do the same.”
To be in with the chance to WIN your own zero waste lunch pack, let us know how you will be reducing your waste this week – you can email your actions to wastecomp@lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk
*Each zero waste lunch pack includes a stainless-steel insulated water bottle, an insulated travel mug or glass keep cup, a bento box, and a recycled cotton tote bag.
The competition is for LCCC residents only and closes at 12 noon, Friday 06 Sep. Winners will be picked at random.
