Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has launched its Community Training Calendar for September 2026 – March 2027, providing free practical training for local community and voluntary groups across the council area.
The programme is designed to help local volunteers and representatives build skills, confidence, and knowledge to support their work in local communities.
Councillor Sharon Lowry, Chairperson of the Communities and Wellbeing Committee, said: “Community and voluntary groups play a vital role across our council area. This free training calendar is a practical way to support them with accessible opportunities to develop skills and sustain their important work.”
