Employers across Lisburn and Castlereagh are being invited to showcase vacancies and connect with local jobseekers at a free job fair, hosted by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council's Labour Market Partnership.
The in-person recruitment event will take place on Thursday 15 October 2026, from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm, at Dundonald International Ice Bowl. It aims to bring together employers and jobseekers from across the local area.
Funded by the Department for Communities, Labour Market Partnerships create targeted employment action plans for council areas, enabling collaboration at both local and regional levels to support people towards and into employment.
The event is designed to help employers recruit talented staff, promote available opportunities and fill vacancies efficiently.
Alderman James Baird, Chair of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Regeneration and Growth Committee, said:“The upcoming job fair is an excellent opportunity for employers to engage directly with potential employees and highlight the range of career opportunities available within Lisburn and Castlereagh.
“This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting local businesses, addressing recruitment needs and helping people access meaningful employment.
“I would encourage employers across all sectors to take part in this event and make the most of the chance to connect with local talent and contribute to the continued growth of our economy.”
The job fair will feature a wide range of employers across multiple sectors, including hospitality, IT, customer service, construction and transport. As exhibitors, employers will have the opportunity to showcase current job opportunities, engage directly with jobseekers and promote their organisation to people looking for their next career move.
Jobseekers looking to change careers or find employment are also encouraged to attend and explore the opportunities available. With a range of roles on offer across a variety of sectors, the event will provide an opportunity to meet employers directly and find out more about potential career pathways.
Employers interested in exhibiting at this free event are encouraged to register their interest by 24th September 2026.
