Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) has published its draft Corporate Plan today (Monday 13 November) and is seeking the public’s views on it by way of a public consultation process.
Alderman Owen Gawith, Chair of LCCC’s Corporate Services Committee said: “This draft plan sets out a roadmap for the council between 2024-2028 and is designed to guide our efforts in delivering essential services, fostering economic growth, enhancing community wellbeing and ensuring effective governance.
“The 12-week public consultation starts today and gives all our residents the opportunity to tell us what they think of the plan. We’re hoping as many people as possible, from right across Lisburn and Castlereagh, will give us their views.
“There are two ways of doing this – either by responding to the online questionnaire or coming along to one of our in-person discussion sessions being held across the council area.
“We really need the public’s input to ensure we are focusing on the right areas. The consultation runs between now and the end of January, so there’s plenty of time to provide feedback.
“Once we have collated all the responses, we will update the Corporate Plan to reflect what residents have told us. The final Corporate Plan document will then be published on 1 April 2024.”
