St. Patrick's Day holiday opening hours

*You do not need to attend the office to register a death. A registrar will contact you once they receive the relevant documents and complete by telephone.

Council cemeteries remain open for visiting as normal.

General waste bin collections

Waste services are available from Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st from 9.00am to 4.00pm. To speak with a member of the team please phone on 028 9244 7300 and press 1.

Recycling bin collections

Waste services are available from Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th & Wednesday 31st from 9.00am to 4.00pm. To speak with a member of the team please phone on 028 9244 7300 and press 1.

Brown bin collections

There will be no brown bin collections between Monday 22nd December and Sunday 4th January to accommodate the alternative Christmas and New Year general waste and recycling bin collections. 

*If your bin is not collected on the alternative date please continue to leave it out and we will endeavour to collect it the next working day.

Our Household Recycling Centres at The Cutts, Derriaghy; Drumlough, Dromara Road, Hillsborough and Carryduff Recycling Centre will operate as follows.

*Last entry to sites is 10 minutes before closing.  Sites will be open as normal on all other dates over the holiday period.
