Glenmore Activity Centre

Situated in the heart of the Lagan Valley at Hilden's Glenmore Park, Glenmore Activity Centre offers a wide range of activities.

Opening Hours

Monday 11am - 8pm
Tuesday - Friday 9am - 8.45pm (last gym session 6.45pm - 7.45pm)
Saturday 9am - 5pm (last gym session 3.30pm - 4.30pm) 

There is no need to pre-book gym sessions throughout weekdays and weekends, with the exception of two evening sessions per week night.
Members and casual users must continue to pre-book for the below sessions only:

  • Monday: 5.00pm-6.30pm & 6.30pm-8.00pm
  • Tuesday - Friday: 6.00pm-7.30pm & 7.30pm-9.00pm

Facilities and classes include;

Legs, Bums & Tums: Tuesdays 9.15am - 10.00am 

Basketball (ages 8 - 12) Tuesdays 4.30pm - 5.30pm 

Gymnastic Club: Wednesdays & Thursdays. Aimed at boys & girls in Primary One and upwards. (Phone Centre to check class availability and times)

Adult & Toddler Creative Play Sessions: Thursdays 10.15am - 11.15am & 11.30am - 12.30pm. £4 for an adult and one child. (£1 for additional children) Book direct by contacting Centre. 

Family Fun Sessions:  Fridays 5.15pm - 6.30pm. Free to vitality members or £4 adult and one child (£2 for additional kids) Book direct by contacting Centre. 

Gillian Doogan "School of Dance": Saturdays 9.00am - 1.00pm.  Girls aged 3 years and upwards.  Includes tap, freestyle and modern

Main Sports Hall: Sports Hall is available to book for Soccer, Basketball, Badminton, Netball, Volleyball and Pickleball.

Over 50's Activities: Activities include: Over 50+ Fun & Fitness Mondays 11.30am - 12.30pm, Feel Good Fitness 50+ - Tuesdays 11.00am - 12.00pm.  Over 50+ Pilates: Fridays 10.30am - 11.30am. Free to Vitality members or £3.00 per class for non-members.

Yoga: Tuesdays 7.00pm - 8.00pm & Wednesdays 10.30am - 11.30am  Free to Vitality members or £3.00 per class for non-members.

Quick HIIT Circuits: Mondays 6.00pm - 6.45pm. Free to Vitality members or £4.00 per class for non-members.

Pilates: Fridays 12.00pm - 1.00pm. Free to Vitality members or £4.00 per class for non-members.

Birthday Parties: Consists of two hours, includes one hour in the Main Sports Hall, with choice of two fun inflatables, bikes, scooters, soft play equipment, soccer and music. The second hour is in the kitchen, where you can serve your own food.  Please contact the centre directly for further information.

Vitality Gym: The Vitality Gym is equipped with air conditioning,  treadmills, rowing machines, exercise cycles, cross trainers, Smith machine, fixed weight resistance machines, half rack and Free Weight Areas. Inductions available free of charge.  

Vitality Membership: Fantastic Vitality membership packages are available or customers can avail of casual payments per session. Our trained and experienced staff are available to provide complimentary inductions. Membership packages now include over 50 fitness classes and swimming at the Lagan Valley LeisurePlex plus family day out activities at Dundonald International Ice Bowl. A range of Vitality Membership options exist, including Household, Household concession, Individual and Individual concession. Contact the centre for more information and pricing.

Healthwise Scheme: This is a Physical Activity Referral Programme, which includes a free fitness membership for 12 weeks, personalised exercise plan, supervised Gym Sessions, and advice on leading a healthy lifestyle. Please contact the Centre for further information.

Outdoor Pitches: Includes two outdoor pitches, grass area plus changing facilities for hire. To book, please call 028 9244 7811. Bookings cannot be made through the centre. 

Children's Playground Outdoor: Hours of endless fun on swings, slides, climbing frames etc
