Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Community Services operate and manage four community centres across the Council Area. Please click here to find out more.
In addition to a dedicated and experienced team of staff, Community Services can provide community groups with practical resources, including transport,equipment hire, administration support and sign posting.
The Community Resource centre provides various items of equipment for hire to clubs, associations and groups to assist groups in fulfilling the community, recreational or educational needs of members of the local community. Please click here for more information
Our staff can assist your grant aided group with some basic administrative services such as photocopying, binding and laminating.
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Community Services provide minibuses to all bona fide clubs, organisations, community groups, youth groups, schools etc. The vehicles are available to assist groups in fulfilling the community, recreational or educational needs of their members.
Community Services has 5 minibuses available for use by community and voluntary groups based within the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area. Groups must provide their own driver.
The Council's 5 community minibuses (fitted with seatbelts) can be booked for community outings and events at competitive costs. Drivers must be aged 25 years or over and have been driving for more than two years. They must formally register with the Council by clicking here

2 x 14 seater minibus, 15 seater minibus and 17 seater bus (wheelchair access) can be hired by contacting the Bridge Community Centre on 028 9266 2496 or email: email@example.com

For those you wish to hire the 17 seater (wheelchair access) the driver must have completed MIDAS training. The training usually costs over £80, however, the Council will charge all applicants (new or refresher) £20.
