COVID Memorial Bench - lisburncastlereagh.gov.uk

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has installed two specially-designed benches to remember those who lost their lives during the Covid-19 pandemic.

They were unveiled at Dundonald’s Moat Park and Lagan Valley Island in Lisburn on 23 March 2023, on the UK National Day of Reflection, which marked the third anniversary of the first Covid-19 lockdown.

These reflective spaces with planting and bespoke benches are designed to help family, friends and visitors take time to reflect and remember.
