Wildcats Activ8

Wildcats Activ8

Activ8 began in 2009 as a social marketing campaign aimed at raising awareness among primary school children of the importance of taking part in at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day and of eating a healthy and balanced diet by promoting the eight Activ8 steps:

  • Move your body
  • Be part of a team
  • Create your own game
  • Involve your family
  • Eat well
  • Go outdoors
  • Be a leader
  • Measure your success.

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council are calling all parents and guardians with children aged 4-11 years old; the Lisburn & Castlereagh Wildcats Activ8 Clubs are on the PROWL and ready to ROAR starting in 2 leisure facilities. The Multi Skills for Sport Clubs is an excellent way for kids to get their recommended 60 minutes of physical activity a day and to learn new skills for sport in a fun, safe environment.

The Wildcats Activ8 Clubs are held at the following centres.

  • Dundonald International Ice Bowl
  • Lough Moss Leisure Centre
