National Key Scheme (NKS) formerly RADAR keys
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council has signed up to the National Key Scheme (NKS)
The National Key Scheme (NKS), previously referred to as RADAR keys, offer disabled people independent access to locked public accessible toilets around the country. Toilets fitted with NKS locks can be found in shopping centres, pubs, cafés, department stores, bus and train stations and many other places.
This means that, if you have a disability or health condition and you live within the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area, you can purchase a NKS compatible key from us that can be used in any of our disabled public toilet facilities fitted with a compatible lock.
These keys also provide access to any disabled public toilet in the UK fitted with the appropriate lock.
If you have a disability or health condition that requires you to access a compatible toilet and require a NKS (RADAR) key please complete the form below. The cost of the key is £3.75 and it will be posted to the address details you provide.
Alternatively, NKS/RADAR keys can be purchased in person from:-
Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council,
Lagan Valley Island,
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Tel: 028 9244 7300
