Stray and Found Dogs

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council's Dog Wardens have the responsibility to collect stray dogs from within the Council area. They will scan each dog collected to get the owner's details from the dog's microchip to enable the dog to be successfully returned. Should the dog not be microchipped the Council will rehome it.

Below are images and details of the dogs which are currently residing in the Council's Dog Pound.

If you are interested, please contact the Council’s Dog Pound on Monday to Friday between the hours of 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Tel: 028 9260 0804 and ask about the relevant Dog Number.

Should you need to contact the Dog Warden Service out of hours (evenings and weekends) about a stray dog please phone tel:07899 876081.
