What can I recycle

The following materials can be recycled at any of the three recycling centres:

  • Batteries
  • Cardboard
  • Cooking Oil (Carryduff and the Cutts sites only)*
  • Domestic Fridges & freezers
  • Electrical goods
  • Engine Oil (Drumlough & Carryduff only)
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Food & drinks cans
  • Garden waste
  • Gas bottles
  • Glass bottles & jars
  • Mobile phones
  • Paint (donate for reuse)
  • Paper
  • Plasterboard (The Cutts & Carryduff only)
  • Plastic bottles
  • Re-use/donation (The Cutts only)
  • Rubble
  • Scrap metals
  • Textiles
  • Timber
  • TVs & computer monitors
  • Tyres (Drumlough & Carryduff only)

Site users are asked to segregate their materials before visiting the site and placing them in the appropriate area for recycling. There are also disposal facilities for non-recyclable waste at each site.
