In order to avoid excess charges from its waste management partner, the Council will not lift a bin which contains material that cannot be recycled. A contaminated sticker will be placed on your bin to advise you it contains unsuitable material.
A Yellow sticker on your bin, indicates a minor level of contamination and advises the householder to avoid putting such items in this receptacle in the future.
A Red sticker will be affixed to your bin if it contains several items of an unsuitable nature, or if the bin, or its contents are unclean. Householders must remove unsuitable items and present the bin for collection on the next scheduled collection day. Tel: 028 9244 7780 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
