Latest local business to become a Love Lisburn partner
February 2, 2018
In support of the Love Lisburn campaign, Translink is offering passengers one third off Ulsterbus and Goldline day return travel after 9.30am every day until further notice.
‘Love Lisburn’ was developed in 2017 by Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council to promote economic growth in the area. Several local retailers and hospitality outlets have recently signed up to the campaign offering special discounts to card holders.
Alderman Allan Ewart, MBE, Chair of the Development Committee at Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, said, “We are delighted with the interest shown by local businesses in support of the Love Lisburn campaign and we’d encourage others to talk to us about becoming a partner.
Aside from the feelgood factor for new and existing customers who are getting something extra for their money, several partners have already indicated an increase in business as a direct result of participating in the Love Lisburn campaign.”
Emma Isaac, Service Delivery Manager at Translink said, “We are pleased to be supporting the Love Lisburn initiative and would encourage customers to take advantage of our third-off bus travel offer. Travelling by public transport offers customers relaxing great value journeys and is a convenient way to reach local shops, cafes, restaurants and other attractions around the City.”
The Love Lisburn card is available free of charge from businesses in the city centre and the City Centre Management office 11-13 Market Square. Participating outlets will display Love Lisburn branding in their premises and offers will be redeemed by each outlet individually.
