Lisburn entrepreneurs are back to business with in person networking events!
May 5, 2022
After two years of virtual events, Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Business Solutions Team welcomed local businesses back to Lagan Valley Island for the launch of in-person events since the beginning of the pandemic.
Over 40 businesses came together for the breakfast networking event. Keynote speaker and business expert, Andrew TooGood, discussed how innovation and collaboration can help business leaders tackle problems in new ways, increasing productivity in turn driving better business results.
Andrew specialises in developing emotionally intelligent entrepreneurs, leaders and high performing teams. He works with leading brands internationally, developing their leadership capacity in individuals.
Speaking about the event, Alderman Amanda Grehan, Chair of the Council’s Development Committee said:
“I am delighted that the council is once again able to welcome businesses back to Lagan Valley Island through the entrepreneurs networking events.
“The way we interact with businesses and each other has changed over the last couple of years. While virtual meetings and events have brought flexibility to the workplace, it’s undeniable that face to face engagement and networking has numerous benefits. And I’m please the council has been able to facilitate this event.
“We remain committed to helping our local economy grow, create jobs and opportunities, and I would urge our local businesses to get in touch with the Economic Development Team to see how your businesses can benefit from the range of support available.”
