Small businesses in Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council gearing up for new sales!

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council (LCCC) has just announced the launch of its exciting new Sales Development Programme for SMEs in the area.
The Programme which is being delivered and managed on behalf of LCCC by Castlereagh-based Full Circle Management Solutions Ltd aims to provide participants with both the skills and the confidence to identify, target and exploit new sales opportunities. As importantly, participants are given the opportunity through the Programme to actually meet with potential customers.
Participants benefit from an introductory selling skills workshop followed by one to one sales mentoring, sales pitch training and bespoke sales prospecting.
Following the success of Lisburn City Council’s business development initiative the Council has just announced the latest Wave of its Competitive Edge Programme that helps local businesses to survive, consolidate and grow. Each participant will also be supported to create a structured business growth action plan to ensure the business has clear and realistic growth objectives over the next two years.
Commenting on the Programme, Alderman Allan Ewart, Chairman of the Council’s Development Committee says: “As Northern Ireland continues to move out of recession, the Council is delighted to be able to once again offer this high impact sales development programme for local companies. The Programme has consistently made a positive impact on the participating businesses, assisting them in their efforts to build new sales and to grow their business, both of which are crucial for survival.”
Simon Devlin of Full Circle added: “In our experience, what most SME owner-managers want is for us to work with them to gear up to sell more. Our role is to upskill participants, to fast-track their efforts to identify new sales opportunities and to then put them in front of buyers who have expressed a provisional interest in doing business with them. This Programme is therefore all about tangible results in the form of new sales”
The Sales Development Programme will be delivered over a five month period and is set to commence in February 2016. The programme is open for applications until 1.00pm on Friday 12 February 2016.
