Residents who reside in the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council area are provided with 1 x 240L brown bin per household for organic food and garden waste collections.

If you require an additional bin(s) for garden waste collection, we can offer this service subject to availability on each route.

A £60 charge per annum will apply for each additional bin.  The charge is valid from 1st April to 31st March annually and is a flat rate regardless of when the service was requested.
If you need an additional bin supplied, a cost of £30 will apply.

Alternatively Surplus garden waste can be recycled free of charge at the councils 3 household recycling centres located at:
