The following workshops are available for residents of the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area.

Christmas Card Making

Date: Mon 6th December 
Times: 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Location:  Hillsborough Village Centre

Experiment with print making on a range of textured papers to create beautiful festive motifs to apply to seasonal cards for friends and family. All materials provided but you may bring extra trimmings.

Christmas Themed Print Making

Date: Mon 6th December
Time: 10.00am - 12noon
Location: Lagan Park Centre, Dromara

Experiment with various print making techniques to create festive prints which can be used for cards, wrapping paper or gift tags.

Floral Wreath Making

Location: Ballymacash Community Centre

Get festive, learn a new skill or just have fun creating a beautiful Christmas wreath to make sure your door is the best dressed in town. In partnership with LCCC Parks and Amenities.

Textile Christmas Wreath Making

Create beautiful handmade winter inspired plates adorned with rims of holly and bright red berries.

Christmas Felt Making

Date: Thurs 9th December
Time: 12noon - 2.00pm
Location: Lough Moss Leisure Centre

Learn how to create winter wonder scenes using the ancient technique of felt making. Using merino wool you will learn how to blend your colours like an artist mixes paints and incorporate a selection curly tops and silky shimmers to enhance your picture.

Willow Making Christmas Decorations

Location: St Clare's Hall, Glenavy

 A fun hands-on workshop working with natural materials to weave fabulous miniature Christmas trees, stars and other decorations.

A Cinders Christmas Panto (touring care homes across the council area)

A Cinders Christmas

In true pantomime style TinyNelson Productions presents ‘A Cinders Christmas’ touring care homes across the council area from 6 – 17 December. This condensed comedy combines laughter with all-time classic sing-along opportunities promising the best festive fun and frivolity this Christmas.

This year the council has continued to offer Christmas Community Grants to groups across the Lisburn Castlereagh area.
