Netherlands Trade Development Programmes

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council’s Trade Development Programmes to the Netherlands are delivered by NITC.

The next trade visit to Amsterdam is arranged for January 2017.

What is on offer ?

The programmes offer business orientation, trade (export and import) and best practice opportunities. Each participating business will benefit from a bespoke programme of assistance specifically tailored to meet their export and trade development requirements. This will include one-to-one company
meetings, confirmation of individual company objectives, targeting and itinerary planning, information and advice on developing business in the target markets.

Ultimately companies will receive assistance to identify new business opportunities, with a series of individual business appointments to take place during the market visit to Amsterdam.

The cost of the programme including research, matchmaking, direct return flights and 2 nights accommodation in Amsterdam is £500 - 600 per company (depending on flight / accommodation).

The project is part funded by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council, Invest Northern Ireland and the European Regional Development Fund.

“I would advise any company thinking of starting to export to the Netherlands, or who wish to increase their already existing business in the Netherlands, to stop thinking about doing it. Stop thinking about doing it and just do it. If you truly believe your business, product or service has the potential to work in Europe, don’t waste any more time, give the NITC guys a call."
Mike Brennan, MDS
